1. Punk fashion wasn't normally his thing, but there were ties between the x-ers and the alpha flighters, and he wanted to make sure her first public show went well.
2. Atypical for her style of show, but typical of the fashion world he knew, along with making a high bid on something he decided he wouldn't mind giving to the right kind of date sometime, he had flowers sent to her backstage.
3. An invitation backstage turned into an invite for dinner and drinks. A lot more interested in the engaging x-girl, he introduced his current date to someone more her style, and took Chris out to celebrate a successful show.
4. It didn't really take much to drink for the two of them to end up back at her place.
5. He paid to replace the numerous things they ended up breaking. She didn't mind.
