1. Pippi continued to insist that she doesn't date, but made a semi-exception for an animal charity auction. Besides, he dresses fancy.
2. The date quickly turned from date to business meeting when they both discovered a mutual love of making an appearance, and she had all manner of suggestions for costuming, showgirl outfits and stage dressings.
3. Because he's Zach, he tried to get it 'back on track', she was admtitedly quite fascinated by the magic tricks, but things took a weird turn when he couldn't find a way to convince her the rabbit didn't really live in the hat - which she felt was a totally unsuitable place for a rabbit to live.
4. She defused a potentially hostile situation with a well-knownshowgirl who had gotten billing below Zach when Pippi asked about her hair and dress, and the two talked for an hour.
5. Zach went home with the showgirl. Pippi went home with the rabbit.
