The next several hours are spent checking dusty tomes and scrolls, and working around the particular complication Zach had just thrown into things. It took a lot of extra spellwork to make sure that if Sally took his family name, it wouldn't undo the bindings. (Demons love loopholes.)

Finally, Zach takes a ceremonial dagger and lays it to one finger. "I know this is gross, but just bear with me, lover...

I, Zachary Zatara, of the House of Zatara, and of the Homo Magi, bind you by tithe of blood, Salome Delila Roth."

He pricks his finger, then extends it to her mouth, grimacing in apology.

	Zach coughs a bit, and eventually withdraws his finger, after making sure to give plenty of time for that portion of the ritual to keep. Yes, that was why. "The pact is set."
