I didn't know anyone else who was homeschooled either.

I went to a CC and majored in journalism. Toward the end I decided to double major in childhood education and journalism once I transferred to a university. I got accepted to Northwestern, but decided to take some time off before going. I'd been at the CC for three and a half years (I became editor of the campus newspaper and was simultaneously working 5-6 jobs at a time, so it took my a little bit longer than normal to earn all my credits. For each of those final two semesters I was mostly working and taking only like 2 classes). My last semester there was fall '06 and I'm planning on starting Northwestern this fall. I'll start as a junior, so I should graduate in '10. That'll be 7 years after graduating high school! I could've had a PhD in that time! I went from being two years ahead of schedule to being a year behind schedule.
