I'll be back to ask my own of you guys tonight, but I'm putting this out there to get the ball rolling for anyone who might get the itch while I'm at work.

Ask anything that you want to know about Kiba and if I don't know the answer, I'll ~~make shit up~~ figure it out. Especially with characters that are outside of the normal playing circle, especially in an au, it's good to know the big answers, the little answers, the answers to things that you never would have thought to ask yourself but ended up being kind of cool and something you can build on later. So give it your best shot! Ask early and ask often!

Ok. So this is a story about Akamaru...but it's also a story about Kiba's dad.

Kiba's dad left them when Kiba was only about seven. He'd gotten bored and discontent with helping run the clinic, wanting more excitement in his life than what Tsume and his kids and their clients could offer. So he left to find something better, something more, working with exotic animals in foreign zoos. In short, he was kind of lame and not man enough to stick with his family and the life he'd created for himself in Japan.

SO! Fast forward to the summer before high school started. Kiba kind of knew that his dad was pretty lame, didn't have a lot of contact with the man over the years (if birthdays were acknowledged, it was usually weeks late and only by a short, awkward phone call). But he was a boy who'd been without a dad or other male role-model for several years and part of him needed to find out what he'd been missing out on, if he was better off without his dad or if he needed to somehow get the man back into his life.

He somehow got his dad to agree to him spending the summer with him in Barcelona, where he was currently living. Unfortunately, his dad's method of spending quality time with his son was to get him a puppy to keep him company while he went about his usual routine.

This...was Akamaru. He's a Pyrenean Mountain Dog (aka Great Pyrenees) which are native to Northern Spain. And as annoyed as Kiba was with his father, Akamaru somehow made up for all of that and then some. He didn't see his dad for more than he was though...he totally saw the truth in the man over the weeks in Spain.

So when he returned to Japan, it was with the creature who, had he been human, would be that inseparable best friend...just of the four legged variety instead. It was also with the decision that it was due time for him to step up and officially become the man of the house, since it was now painfully obvious that nothing would put his father back in that role ever again.

Aka now goes practically everywhere Kiba goes. Even if dogs aren't allowed (the dorms at KnG for example?), they find a way.

Uh...don't have any cute puppy stories...but how about a cute puppy picture of Aka?

He's still trying to get used to the new Naruto, since it doesn't quite mesh with the way he remembers the moron. ;D And it's a little weird to him that 1) Naruto has survived as well as he has the past two years and that 2) he did it on his own. Part of him really misses the part of Blondie that had needed him, he liked being the one that someone looked up to for once, not being the "baby" of the family or whatnot. Tenny never needed him, she can do just fine on her own. But...I guess he has Aka, so.../shrug. He's still figuring it out, like I said.

But it's a fun learning process? :D

And wtf, he will never admit that Naruto is a sexy beast ~~even if he is...just a little...only a tiny smidgen though...shut up~~. Now Kiba? He's the sexy beast. Totally. ~~and where the hell did that muscle tone come from? he'd swear that didn't used to be there, what happened to the scrawny punk from high school?~~ And ~~without copious amounts of alcohol~~ that's just how it is.

Depends. If they're legitimate bastards to animals, that's how he calls them (for lack of proof otherwise, Sasuke falls under this catagory). If they're just indifferent and insensitive, well...not everyone was raised to appreciate animals. He may or may not recommend that you get one to see the error of your ways depending on if he thinks you're trustworthy enough to care for one.

I'll get back to you on classes (too many to figure out what he's already taken before I head off to work), but there's bound to be some crossover for the boys. ZOMG lots of science required for vets, even outside of the non-human variety.

	Just shy of 6'...and taller than Naruto, still. So he's happy. ^.^ But he's by no means a giant in his family with Hana only a handful of inches shorter. (Reply to this)(Parent)

He really respects loyalty, dedication and drive. Someone who has found something that they are good at or that they are passionate about doing...and then can do just that. He thinks that's a pretty awesome way to be able to live.

Loyalty could mean to family, to friends, a team, whatever. But people who go around screwing people over piss him off, especially if they do it deliberately.

As for living this way...he tries? You don't mess with his friends and family and expect him to just sit back and let you. And he won't take it quietly, that's for sure.

And since he's using one of his passions to pay for the education of another, he's pretty content with his future plans - this does not mean that he does not work his ass off for it though. School is not so easy for him that he can just breeze through it and he refuses to let his status on the team work as a form of bribery to keep his grades up. Whatever he's accomplished, he's done it with a lot of hard work and without making a big fuss about it.
