oo2.
Things have been awfully boring around here to say the least.

I mean; apart from the vicious attempts at Quidditch, What is everyone doing?

And when I say everyone; I actually just mean people who are worth my time.

[Private to Theodore]

Love; where have you been lately?

Where are you spending the Christmas Holidays?

[/Private to Theodore]

[Private to Malcolm]

Who do you think has the best rack in the WHOLE of Hogwarts, Malcolm darling?

[/Private to Malcolm]

Is anybody excited about Christmas at all?

Because I want to know!

I'm rather bored and craving insight into the male brain.

Also; I wish to know if my assets are up to standards. By knowing who has the best rack; I can compare.

I think things have been perfectly thrilling around here, Tracey! Professor Slughorn is making up new batches of potions...Professor Snape taught us the most terrifying spell that roots your feet to the ground...and of course, Professor Sprout has Flitterbloom and fanged geranium growing in the greenhouses! It's such an exciting time to be here, though all the times are exciting, but right now it just seems like everything is swirling, like we're in a big cauldron of amazing, just bubbling with possibility! And I'm sure that Professor Trelawney could tell you about future excitement, since she is so in tuned with the inner eye, so much more than I. She is so kind, Tracey, she always lets me See first, and then tells me that I'm right! You should absolutely chat with her, if you want to look to the future.

I wonder if there are cauldrons that are transparent, wouldn't that be lovely, to be able to watch what you are making from all angles?

Fucking hell, not you again.

Thrilling? I'll take your word for it Kennicot.

Transparent cauldrons? Well; I'm sure you could find one if you looked hard enough.

Oh, don't take my word for it: just look around, you can't help but see how truly miraculous it is, every single moment here! It all so much fun! Why do so many people have trouble seeing this? You know what's so much fun? Brushing the thestrals, they are so kind--I like wearing my thestral wings, so that way, they feel like I really understand them. If you ever want to go to the thestrals, I could take you, though I don't have an extra set of wings. I have had to remake mine a couple times, since people steal and break them. Oh, well.

...do you know what might work? You can do charms to make a person invisible? I'm certain you could do a dissillusionment charm on a thing, too! So then you could have a transparent cauldron!! Think about how helpful that would be in potions--just how ripping that is! Oh, Tracey, I need to go run and see if Professor Flitwick is in his office, I want to see if he'll help me! This is so exciting! If I make this work, would you like one?

Brushing the Thestrals. Brushing the THESRALS?

You have THESTRAL WINGS?

Why don't you just BUY a transparent cauldron? Oh, but I guess you'll probally find charming a cauldron to become transparent much much more entertaining and fufilling?

Christmas with the family at my grandmother's manor in Haute Vienne, I expect, and a few parties here and there. I'm looking forward to it for the most part, I really don't understand those who aren't. I can barely wait to see the back of this place.

I've been in Hogwarts Castle. Where have you been?

I... can't exactly decide. I could stay here in Hogwarts, where I will be alone and cold. Or in Nott Manor, where I will be cold and alone... I'm torn here.

And yourself?

Well, the same I suppose.

Well, you do seem to be in a bit of a pickle.

I'm not too sure as of yet. I'm pretty sure Daphne is staying at Hogwarts over the Christmas break, and I really do not want to see her alone.. So perhaps I might invite her back to the Estate. But if she declines, I'm more than happy to stay here with her.

Perhaps if we stay; I can keep you company?

Either way, I would be fine. Nothing's new.

You'd what? That would be... lovely, Tracey. I think I would enjoy that...

Come to think of it, does that offer extend to a period a lot closer than the Christmas Holidays? Let's say... right now? To be honest, I'm pretty sick of the silence I've chosen to surround myself with. Would you wish to... take a walk with me?

You could come stay at the Estate if you wanted, it'd be like a big slee-

Well, wonderful! I thoroughly enjoy your company so it'd be quite nice.

Of course. Honestly Theodore, you should be a bit more social. Where do you want to go for a walk love? Alongside the Lake perhaps?
