As usual I've been super busy with work, consulting, working on servers, working on other side projects and the horses. I did find a new video podcast called Horse Girl TV which is fantastic. Definitely a fun podcast, there was one episode about mounted police officers that I found to be really cool. Unfortunately for some reason I cannot get it work in iTunes. I did also find like another 2-3 horse podcasts and like 4-5 Japanese podcasts.

Last week I went skateboarding with Sean. A really lot of fun, I haven't skated in like 2-3 years so I kinda sucked, but I was having fun in the mini pipe and with this little box...I hope we can go again soon. We also went to the place he works at for dinner, pretty good food, lame waitress though. Then he showed me how he brews beer and explained the process and everything. It was really cool, I'm really happy he's found something that he likes to do and he's pretty damn good at it too. I actually tasted a beer that I didn't mind, it didn't have such a strong "beer" flavor to it.

**** The above was written about a week ago... *****

So uuh yeah, I got busy or something and I forgot about the post I was making, it's been about a month since I've written. I've been busy learning about the core and workers and code behind Scribbld, that way I can manage and use it a lot better. A lot of you will notice your poor Inbox's getting flooded. I do apologize about that. We started using the workers to send out notifications and emails and stuff and we had about 1.5 million jobs to process. The database is now much lighter since I've pretty much emptied it out. Anyways, I'll be working on setting up how many subscriptions various account types can have and how many messages they can do. So yeah, we've got private messaging set up now. I'll have to add to the FAQ about how it works and privacy of it and all.

Fortunately LJ updated their documentation (I think they must have done it in the past week) because it's been the same documentation since 2003, so it was getting really old!

I've also been in talks with an un-named publisher to write a book, rather a bible on Mac OS X Leopard Server. After looking and viewing their guidelines, I decided against it. I mostly just don't have time to learn someone elses guidelines and they don't have time to teach me, so rather then do that, I'll probably end up writing the book but I'll do it on my own time and publish it through Lulu.com or something. I've already got the Table of Contents mapped out and if it works out the way I have it planned it'll be about 900 pages long. So that's where I've been mostly as of lately.

Yesterday I picked up Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, it looks amazing. I also bought the guide and it looks like it's going to be a pretty big game. Hopefully I can play a little bit today, start it at least.

I played through another level of Loco Roco, it's fun :P I also played a lot of Resident Evil the other week. I absolutely love that game. I am back at the mansion now. I can't believe I didn't get or play this when it was originally released on Playstation. I would LOVE to have this on PSP. I've been playing a lot of Frontlines: Fuel of War too, definitely a kickass game.

Last night I finally started in on the Mac OS X Server Essentials book so I can get certified. So now I am just doing a software update, although it's acting kind of funky. I just downloaded this 400MB update and now it appears to be doing it again, hopefully it works this time, or else I am going to be angry!!

I started a new website - http://www.macintosh-admin.com -- I am not sure if I want to keep the logo the way it is, or trim off the server so you can only really see the front of it. I'll have to think about it some more.

I kind of wish the rich text editor would work in Safari.

Outlook 2007 doesn't support CRAM-MD5 authentication which is stupid, I hate Windows and Windows software, 98% of it sucks ass. No wonder why the system is so insecure...

So today I will be working through this book. I am up to DNS basics, which is great because I suck at DNS for the most of it.

[info]emilie and I started to watch Aishiteruze Baby, but it kinda sucks. So last night we watched Azumanga Daioh and that was much better. At least it was pretty funny. I picked up a copy of Anime Insider, and it's much better then that crappy PiQ magazine. I hope they hurry up and credit my sisters card and I hope that I get Anime Insider soon since I just subscribed to it. It's like NewType but shorter, but at least it's all anime and good stuff. I am so sad NewType is gone, that really means I have to learn Japanese so I can get the Japanese version.

What else to say...I actually tried renting a movie from the iTunes Store on my AppleTV and it works really great. I was really impressed. Within 30 seconds it was ready to be watched and never once during the playback did it stutter or have to wait for more of it to download. That and it looked great on our HDTV.

Alright, well I suppose that's all for right now. Hopefully this software update works and I can continue working on the book. Take care everyone!

Yeah, Aishiteruze Baby is a bit cute. I'm one of the ones who likes to cry during anime. X3 I'm a weirdo like that, man. ♥ But Azumanga will have me laughing regardless. Who is your favorite character, hm? :3

I love those days...sitting around, doing absolutly nothing but thing you wanna do...ah, it's a wonderful thing.

Well I must say Chiyo is funny, but I think Tomo is the funniest. We've only watched one episode so far, but she was the funniest in it...hopefully we'll watch some more tonight!

Haha, it's really a great game when you need something quick and fun to play. I enjoy it :) I've unlocked up to the blue guys...I am on world 3....not very far in I would assume haha

It *is* great, I love it...
I think you have a ways to go yet, but as long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters. :)

My boyfriend is the one who owns the PSP, but it's like our lovechild (we have a few Sony lovechildren XD)...he plays FF Tactics and Crisis Core, and I play LocoRoco and Me and My Katamari. We balance out, I think. :P

Katamari takes a bit of getting used to, since the PSP has just one analog stick...I had some problems with it at first, but I got used to it. I found my favorite Katamari cousin in that game! :D
