It has come to my attention that a community on Scribbld is causing a lot of issue and I've actually suspended the account (but it's now unsuspended). Basically because we have no ToS people are pretty much free to write about and post about anything they want. Obviously that is a real issue but I've always said from day one, if you have to think twice about the content you're posting then don't post it at all. This continues to hold true and if you're submitting objectionable content, just don't. You'll probably end up getting banned or suspended.

I am not really sure what provokes people to post such mean and hateful content and as mentioned in a support ticket, I will definitely be closing this community in question if I get more complaints from users.

I personally think the community should be allowed to stay open but ONLY members of the community can participate in their little game. I believe that is what I will propose and if that rule is broken (via a user reporting it) I will close the community. I believe that is how I will handle it.

What I don't understand is why can't people just keep to themselves. Choose your friends wisely...

I will be speaking with a few other people today to get their opinions on the issue and from there we will decide on whether or not to keep the community open.

In other news....Keith came over last night and we hung out. I hooked him up with Aperture 2 and Cloverfield. makkintosshu also stopped over to drop off an Ethernet cable. we all hung out and chatted video games. As with every Tuesday night we'll be online playing Call of Duty 4 -- my gamertag is vtequine.

emilie made us a really good dinner last night, Shepards Pie. I loved it. Then we just hung out pretty much for the rest of the night.

I've also been working with Morgan and talking about a new project he's working on. More details to be revealed later :) it'll be neat though.

I finally got an S2 style I like except when I leave the comment page to be the style it looks horrid, I hate how none of the S2 stuff seems to indent or nest the comments. It's lame, but at least I like the layout...

I believe that's all I have to say for right now

ok here's the thing, I modded flamecup on gj and now I've become a mod here and honestly, all but 2 people are fine with being flamed. Seriously, if you have a few minutes, go checkout flamecup and gjflame on greatestjournal, most updates had over 100 flames, some close to 200. This site is TAME compared to that. I've been told that the flamer hoped I go get raped and as a rape viictim, I did find this insulting, but I never reported the image, to tinypic or gj because I'm a big girl, I can handle the fact that someone really doesn't like me. And honestly, I can even LAUGH at that, they dont know me at all but they can to that far, I find that and their existence pretty pathetic.

Also, with regard to the specific issue at hand... Glaceon(?) and that pixie person are offended. But glaceon shouldnt really have an issue with flamecup itself because it was HER FRIEND wasthe one who slammed flamecup with her pictures and mods took down the ones that broke the rules. With her, its a personal issue she needs to work out with her friend, not a flamecup issue. And really, pixie person is just a big baby. Honestly, I've never seen someone act so whiney and juvenile over a flame. They're in the community so by your rules, flaming is ok. Not even that though, but she claimed that she thinks that the poster is going to come hunt her down and burn her to death. Seriously? This is just utterly ridiculous. Not only am I sure that people don't care enough to even know which STATE she lives in, let alone her real name, but if someone were to know, I can guaruntee that nothing would happen to her because the number of people who die in fires each year is probably such a tiny number due to people's own ability to WALK OUT of the burning building, but we have emergancy services which come and put out those fires. She will not be hurt because of an image. Not to mention, I'm sure no one would want to risk getting in trouble over some random Internet person who they don't even know. Its just not conn happen. Most flames are done stranger to stranger (with the small exception of glaceon, I really haven't seen flames coming from friends) and really, no one will get hurt. That pixie girl really just needs to put her big girl pants on an accept the fact that someone is annoyed by her whining and chooses to express that pictorally.

As I really am not some mindless idiot who feeds off belittling others, I would just like to thank you for listening to all sides and rationale in this before making your decision. As a mod, I will do my job of removing privacy violations and that has always been done and since flamecup has moved to scribbld, yes, there were two instances where it was questioned what was private and what wasn't, and another where it was said to be private, just so the mods would take it down, when later it was proved to be publicly hosted on flickr, not for just friends, but anyone. Otherwise, if it's a private myspace or a private photohosting, then it's taken down and it's always been like that since I first saw flamecup on gj and we have on reason not to keep it that way.

Once again, thank you for being level headed in your decision and listening to the logic of it all.

	Ok seriously, if that's how your friends act, I'd say the problem isn't with flamecup, it's with the company you keep. 	yeah her(illuminated) boyfriend is the kind that auto-sides with his GF whether shes right or wrong and will beat the shit out of anyone that dares go against her....which is retarded as hell. I really don't care, you're not of interest to me, but before I'm done replying to you, I'd just like to point out that your comment is highly hypocritical. You say you're not bothered, yet you open a support ticket about it. I've had much worse said about me and you know what I do? I tell the people they're fools for having that much time on their hands and then I laugh and move on with my day. I suggest you do the same.

ergo, you do, in fact, care then. But like I said, whether or not you care is really of no interest to me, I was just using examples in my statement to show a point and my bringing in your name wasn't even really about flamecup, it was about your friend so...all kind of pointless. You can do what you want, be bothered or not, but when you are taking actions that show you actually care, then you should at least stand by them and say "yes, I...blah blah whatever it is I'm standing for."
