Spotlight
When
Spotlight was originally released for OS X I was pretty excited and I would show people that it really could find just any file and how easy it was to use. About 3 months or so after Tiger came out I didn’t even bother with it or talking about it. I was a very very neat person I never let clutter happen.
As I obtained more machines and really started working with my Macs I had things all over the place. For the last 2-3 months I’ve been using Spotlight constantly. even when I have the application in my dock I will still use the Spotlight hot key to access those applications. It’s become something I really almost rely on to function now! Of course I am still trying to clean up my files and make thing organized but it sure makes working in and around OS X quicker.
They also have some nifty
plug-ins that you can download to extend the functionality of Spotlight. I liked the Google one.
Just another reason why Mac OS X kick Microsoft ass!
