The first time they meet, Cyrus is almost eighteen. She is older than him of course. He hasn't ever seen anyone like her.

He is curious. She thinks he thinks too loud.

But when he speaks....J'ana laughs. He says everything she didn't think he would think of.

Then he laughs.

"What's so funny?" It's easier to not read his mind. He thinks too fast she decides.

"You're.... An alien, right?"

She gives him a look but he just moves on.

"I find it funny aliens spend more time on Earth than I ever have." His eyes twinkle in amusement. "So. Want to show me around, Girl from Mars?"

Dancing to a familar song

They try dating. It ids hard with him because he is off fighting somewhere doing something he thinks is important.

But he sends her things. To show he is thinking of her.

By accident he ends her something that indicates he wishes to be very serious. Marriage serious.

She tells him. She thinks it was a mistake because he is barely nineteen.

And then he laughs. Then gives her a hopeful look.

Oh. So it wasn't an accident.

Pattering feet and a hopeful future

Cyrus is sitting up with their son. He has a fever and just wants to be held J'ana is out with the League fighting an alien invasion.

He peers down at J'oshua and smiles. He hadn't expected to become a stay at home Dad, in his point of view anyways, but he did it to be with his wife. He has the Phoenix in case they want to leave Earth.

But this is home now. He teaches physics and helps design ships because Earth is joining the intergalatic community.

He is excited for the world they are creating for their son.
