1) They were both really smart. They had that in common. What they also had in common was a willingness to give to themselves to save lives. It was how Ty found Griffen in their universe.
2) They could go on and on for hours about science. It was above everyone's head. But they got it that was what was important.
3) They both loved strong willed woman. y was lucky though, Cait was here. Griffin missed Dawn ever day.
4) Griffin discovered a way to regulate Ty's powers. It was difficult though. He knew the device would take a long time to build. But since he was stuck here he would work on it. After all Ty was his friend. Even if it would take fifteen years.
5) When Ty discovered there was no way to return Griffin home safely he let Griffin get blind stinking drunk. He let him vent all of his anger and grief. Because he has a ring in his pocket he couldn't give Dawn. Ty knew what a broken heart was like.
