It does get better though. The civil rights movement. The right for women to vote. People stood up for a cause that was right over one that was antiquated and wrong, and fought for something that was better. And they won. Yes, some people will always judge, but that doesn't mean that you stop fighting for something you believe in. Heck, women in the early 1900s fought for the right to wear pants and were judged for it before it became accepted. Now you don't even look twice at a girl in blue jeans.

And so what if people judge you. Look at Alexander the Great. Look at Richard the Lionhearted. Hell, we learned about Albus Dumbledore in history classes and he was apparently gay. These people were a part of world-changing history. They were also homosexual. It's a part of who they are, and they might have been judged for it, but that didn't stop them. Why should it stop anyone else? And who out there has the right to tell someone how they can and cannot live their lives?

You're absolutely right that you don't need to justify anything to me. I laugh at off color jokes that I shouldn't, same as lots of other people. I don't think you're a shithead. I think that you riled a lot of people up - myself included - over a really serious topic that hits close to home for a lot of people.

If I can make a suggestion which obviously you don't have to take? Try not to antagonize the people on campus so much? Just because you think something is funny, doesn't mean that everyone else is going to share your views. Especially when it's something that is such a touchy subject with so many people here on campus. As I am sure you've noticed.

Look, this might sound funny, but I'm here to talk if you want to.
