I've taken some fish pics. I get the best results when using a flash, which usually isn't the case. Seems it's simply too dark without it. Here's the first for all to see, I'll put the others behind a link.

I like this one because it has some drama: the silver-tipped tetra, with heavenly bright lighting from above, seems to be chasing the gouramis away, like the angel sent to kick Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden. Fish need not be boring at all, if you have some imagination.

Silver-tipped and cardinal tetra. The silver-tipped is looking rather smug, don't you think? Perhaps that's because he knows he's in focus and the others are not.

Quite a decent picture of a female silver-tipped, even if I do say so myself.

And here's the poor little fellow (actually, I think this one's a lady, too) without a tail. Looking a bit sad, isn't she?

Enough of that, here's a different fish. A Gold Gourami. I particularly like the tiger stripes. Very cool.

Gold and Three Spot Gourami in front of the mirror backdrop. More fish for your money.
That'll do for now. I'll take a nice picture of the blue crayfish as soon as he's changed into a fresh new armour. He wouldn't be comfortable with having his picture taken now.
