I'm glad it did. It's one of the rare things I'm allowed to comfort people on, so I don't mind discussing it so openly.

We had originally met on a roleplay game on AOL (I was a hardcore Yahoo! roleplayer so I quickly was admired due to para roleplaying and thus, gained his interest) and were friends for a very long time. He comforted me a lot and took good care of me, had no idea he even liked me. It was almost three years ago (In October) that I finally broke down and admitted interest, in which he told me he too felt something. We decided to play it safe cause my last relationship I moved out to New York without ever meeting the guy and ended up in a terrible environment.

So we met up at a mutual friend's house and had a blast, all three of us. It was really great to have a friend there with us; it eased my mind knowing I would have someone to protect me and it eased his as well to know he wouldn't be alone.

Shortly after that, I flew out to meet his parents (Which is probably your next step if this works out) and everything worked out. They liked me and I moved from New York to California within a few months. We're still living together, which has been a little rough. We're both gamers, so we both tend to be lazy. He has his own quirks, as do I. We make it through easily though ^^;
