Why would I want to get to know him? He's a right prat who can't obviously take hints.
And why can't I do the same? I don't want to mope around like a little girl fancying her best friend! I feel so ridiculous. And what if it takes him forever to realise that? Assuming that he does like me, of course. What if it's too late?
