Gelsey Kennicot ([info]kennicot) wrote in [info]morag,
I'm not! I'm going home to see my mum, I miss her so much during the year. I would have lived with her to go to school opposed to boarding, since there are so many excellent schools in London, especially in our neighborhood, and who wouldn't want to live in London, with all of its excitement and all of the secret places. There's a museum tucked away in SoHo for birds! All kinds of stuffed birds, all around a little narrow row house off of a very narrow street, every bird that you could imagine, just nailed to walls or perched on things, it's so fascinating. It's right next to this wonderful Italian restaurant that was a Thai place only four years ago, and before that, it was a little noodle shop, but my mum says that's part of commerce in a big city. I want to travel all over the world, but I want to live in London, since you can travel all over the city for years and years and find something new every day.

Are you going home? Are you traveling? Would you go to Russia? They have banshees there, you know, that roam in Siberia. I'd love to go find one and study them, though from a distance for they can drive you quite barking, you know.
