Despite her initial idea of a naught nurse costume (yes, she had one. Of course she had one), Avia had instead just gone for her traditional clothing when it had come time to take care of Will.

She sat a plate of food on the tray over his lap, then pulled her chair next to his bed. She leaned over to give him a kiss. "Taking on the whole Monster Society all by yourself... I dunno whether to kiss you or strangle you."

Wait.

"Well, okay, apparently I do. But still. Trying to make a point here, sweetie. You had me scared to death."
