Every time that Clio glanced at Liir, he pretended to be very engrossed in one of the exhibits -- but every time that she turned to read something or another she was very certain that she could feel his eyes on her.

It was in the exhibit about prehistoric plants that she slipped up right behind him while he really was interested in reading about ... phytoliths or something ... and tapped him on the shoulder.

When Liir turned around, startled by their proximity, she kissed him lightly on the lips and grinned wickedly.

"Your first kiss with a girl with you still conscious, if I recall correctly ... in an appropriately educational setting. Much more fitting, I think."
