Sample Thread
Asherah Curry saw claws and things flying everywhere. She saw people in trouble. Like anyone who could she swam into the thick of things to save them. She sent out a wave of gravitational fields to throw the creature back away from her peiople.

Her eyes went wide though as the attack came. Some sort of hole opened. A building crashed apart above her and she fell backwards. It was an instant latter when she fell with parts from a building. There were shouts as the young teenager hit the ground. Then blinked as there was chaos around her.

The city. It wasn't right. Buildings that had been taken apart during the fight were suddenly back. There was life going on all around her.

She blinked when several city guards came towards her. She expected greetings of respect.

That is not what happened.

AJ was swimming through Atlantis, trying to get a good lay of the land. If he was going to be this city's protector, he needed to know it inside and out. Suddenly, he hears what almost sounds like an explosion.

He swims in the direction of the noise and soon finds a crowd of people gathered around a girl next to a partially demolished building. AJ taps one citizen on the shoulder. "Hey, what happened here?"

	The citizen turns to him. "That girl just fell out of thin water. Something fell out with her and hit the building." One of the guards yanks up Asherah. Not unkindly but he isn't very happy. "Child, what is the meaning of this?" And she really does look like just a kid. A very spooked kid. "I don't know! I'm serious. I just fell." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The rest of the citizens are unhappy as well, and start to get a little rowdy. "Who do you think you are going around and wrecking buildings?" One of them asks. They all begin to heckle Asherah, and some more guards swoop in to take her away until AJ raises his voice.

"Would everyone please shut up?" He says rather loudly, and every turns to look at him. AJ clears his throat. "Okay, first of all, you said you just saw her falling. I don't think that's enough to start accusing someone of terrorism."

"It should be! Haven't enough people gotten hurt," one citizen argues.

Asherah shakes her head. "I'm not! I'm just a citizen of Atlantis. Just like the rest of you. And I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. After all, I. I fell."

She takes in a gulp of water and seems to try and hide behind her own hair. There are too many people. She doesn't know if they will listen to the truth. They don't recognize their own Princess.

	AJ shakes his head steps forward, putting himself between her and the slowly forming angry mob. "Look, I wasn't here, so I don't know exactly what happened, but I bet no one here knows the whole truth either, so quit jumping to conclusions until this is all figured out." She peers up at the back of his head. AJ is acting like he is in charge. Like the voice of reason. Is he a Prince here?

This is not her Atlantis. Maybe he is.

A few of the guards join him. They know AJ is right. Getting so very angry at a girl is not going to help. With AJ they paint a very heroic picture. Protecting someone from some very angry and scared people.

"No one was hurt," Asherah says out loud oping that everyone will hear her. "Please! Just let him and the guards do their jobs!"

	The people are unhappy, but not worked up enough to start fighting the guards. The crows dissolves and the people go back about their business, a few sticking around to look at the wreckage. AJ turns to Asherah and gives her a nod. "So, do you know what really happened?" He asks in a much calmer voice. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

She gets this very uncomfortable look on her face. She glances around then lets her head sink a little.

"Yes. But it's complicated. I'm not sure if you would believe me. I'm. I'm not sure I believe me." She glances at the ground. She should say something.

"This isn't the Atlantis I know." She scuffs at the ground with one foot. "This part of the city was being flattened by some kind of creature. The King, Queen, and the city guard were fighting it. Some of the citizens were too. Not many. I can manipulate gravity fields so I was holding up things so people could evacuate."

She gulps in some more water. "A-And I threw a gravity field to scare off the creature from where I was. It did something. I just remember a whole lot of claws though."

She looks mostly unhurt though. It takes alot to hurt an Atlantean.

AJ tilts his head to the side as he listens to Asherah. Once she's done speaking, he pauses a moment and nods. "I see. You're telling the truth, so I'll believe it." He motions to the guards. "I've got this handled." They nod and swim off. AJ crosses his arms and thinks.

AJ pushes his hair back and scratches his head. "You're right, it does sound complicated. I don't know how much help I can be, but I've got some friends that know more about alternate-realities that could help."

	"You trust too quickly,." she says in a closed off tone. He really is too trusting she thinks. "Why? I'm just a girl as fr as you know." She tilts her head very slightly. "Who are they? AJ just smirks and places his finger against the side of his head. "Actually, I wasn't going to trust you until I read your feelings." His voice seems to echo inside Asherah's mind. "One of the little tricks I've picked up."

He pulls his A shaped belt buckle off and flips it open to reveal a communication device. "There's the Young Justice League for starters. They must know something about other dimensions. But I better get Cait first."

If she had any familiarity with the surface world and it's pop-culture she would have called him a Jedi. It might just be fitting.

"Cait. Who is she?" Asherah has no idea who that could be.

One of the guards who is here to make sure they are not bothered looks startled. But he says nothing because if Asherah is other worldly then it should be no surprise she has no idea who Cait is.

Asherah was starting to fron. Then realized that she was and fought it. She really hated looking grumpy. But could she be anything else? She just got tossed into an Atlantis she doesn't know.

And now someone is claiming there's another Princess. And she bets that they'll be older. Because hat would just be the way things would work out.

And she's not sulking! Really, she isn't. This is the face of mild annoyance.
