I'm listening to Duffy's album, "Rockferry". It's great, I really love it! Some folks say she's a bit like Sandie Shaw or Dusty Springfield and yes, I can see what they mean. There's a lovely 60's sound to it, I love it!
May I just say here and now that I hate, hate, HATE Scribbld's update form. If I try to update on IE the post button disappears unless I'd be happy to use only the default icon all the time. But in firefox, the type is tiny and minute. I can barely see it. C'mon guys, I'm 47 and my sight is none too clever at the best of times. I tried making the type bigger, but it resizes everthing except the type in the edit box. *sigh* So, I'm having to write in IE and then cut and paste over to Firefox, just so I can actually, y'know, see what I'm actually writing. I tried sending in a support ticket about it but it seems like the attitude is meh, that's IE for you. NO, that's Firefox for you. It's crap, I hate it and I resent having to do this just because no one can be bothered to do anything about it. Granted, it's not the most important thing in the world. But it just makes updating that bit more awkward. I swear, I may just give up updating here all together and stick with LJ. Which makes me look stupid, given that I paid for this.
Anyway, I was going to update more, but I'm just too pissed off.
