i just hate gale because from the moment she gets back he's pressuring her to feel certain ways about what she's been through and it annoyed me. i know he went through something terrible with leading district twelve out of the destruction but i hated how he thought he had the right to dictate how she should react and feel about the rebellion and the fact that she had unintentionally become the symbol of it when the only thing she wanted to do was protect her family, which was precisely what he was pushing her to risk

but i think gale thought he was doing right, especially by her. i don't think he realized how wrong what he was doing was until later, if at all and sadly i think that's how it is in the real world a lot of the time too. war makes people think and do crazy things they might not otherwise and had they not been put in the situations they were i don't think he would have done that

	i agree with this, i know he was just following what he thought was best but it was selfish and why i felt he was terribly suited for her. even if their situation had been different, he would still be that kind of person, you know? while peeta put her first which was something katniss really needed, i think, because she's never had that as the caretaker in her family (Reply to this)(Parent)
