if the mod team is too busy for this i'd honestly volunteer to take the reigns for this. i'd be willing to make a journal that can be added to the button to post breaking news about hate crimes and death eater sightings and threats and i'd take responsibility for the scenes related. all the mods would have to do is say yes or no to my write ups

i really dnw a war. if i wanted a war i would join one of the pbads hp comms but i came here because this is the setting i like. and tbh it's going to be hard enough for us to live and do things together once it's divided into those out of school and those still in, a war would do nothing but separate us further so let's just not

TO CLARIFY:

this will not be an actual war. i'd liken it more to the civil rights movement era where there were people who rejected the idea of civil rights and acted out through hate crimes. i know that's an extreme comparison but that's pretty much what would be happening... death eaters making a stand for their beliefs by targeting muggles and muggleborns but it wouldn't be a war, it'd just be a string of crimes that would have emotional effects on everyone but how your character responds to it is up to you. whether or not you use it for development is completely a choice, it won't change the direction your character is going in, it won't uproot them from hogwarts, it won't effect future careers unless you want it to

i LOVED the idea of the dark mark mini plot but i hate how it was presented, there wasn't anything we could do in the group thread except glance at one another and no one could really panic since mcgoogles was instantly like NOTHING'S HAPPENED IT'S JUST A PRANK!

WELL i play a slytherin so i can't really start a thread of accusing my house who i think everyone has agreed would be the first targets of accusation? but i'd participate if someone wanted to start something like this or if we can do a backdated one from the night it was actually cast but i don't know how to get everyone to a place where they could see it
