I HAVE AN IDEA BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WRITE IT OUT RN SO IF ANYONE LIKES IT FEEL FREE TO RUN WITH IT? since we couldn't come to an agreement or reason why everyone would be outside, what if someone starts a group thread where a npc is outside (not the one who did it, an innocent bystander wrong place wrong time sort of situation) who does see it and then runs into the castle and starts telling people and it spreads to everyone so everyone can start panicking and accusing?

this is completely unrelated but i've noticed that writing here has become less and less fun/important for me recently and it makes me sad because it's what i love about this place, i just don't have the passion for scenes anymore. i'm not going to leave over it but i wish it was as compelling as it used to be

i don't think we should have to cater to the people who dw things but dnw to write them out etc you can't please everyone if you dnw then write a narrative or write with a scene buddy that's what i think is unfair

have any of your characters really reacted enough that writing out the night it happened would change anything? i mean i'm sure it's come up in conversation and things but tbh with the way it was presented most of the people my character have talked to have been all "eh whatever" about it

OKAY THEN HOW ABOUT THIS, mcgoogles has already wrote it off as a prank but students are now suspecting that she was lying to protect them/keep everyone calm/not have a mass panic and either a npc or a character if you dw that drama does a little investigating and finds out that she might have lied and then tells everyone THUS CURRENT DAY PANICKING

how about a fun scene to further lighten the mood for those still at the castle? people who went home are getting their party thread later in the week, why don't we have a fun one now? then if you dw, people can accuse each other at the party/gathering or if you dnw you can have your character not hear or go near the drama then everybody wins
