WELL, on the surface they're polar opposites which i think is obvious to anyone that interacts with them in the slightest. they're figuring each other out right now and have more things in common than they originally thought. and on her side of things, she likes him because he doesn't think she's a bad person/doesn't let her feed into her self-imposed ideas that she's a bad person (regardless of what she's done) and she sort of went against everything she believed in and trusted him immediately because he seemed genuine so she's more open with him than she is with most people, and he's never used anything she's told him against her and he's helping her grow up because her views of relationships and anything like them are more on the childish side than anything because she's only been in a handful and none of them were too serious. THAT WAS A HORRIBLE RUN-ON I'M SORRY.

	her mom's death is actually going to cause quite a few things to happen to her emotionally/personality wise and assuming you read the narrative it also brought her dad back into the picture so i can do all the things i don't want to go into too much detail though but you'll see! I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'LL CHECK BACK ANON but...strained? at best, they don't talk very much now since when they do it generally turns into an argument because they're both really stubborn and she has a tendency to say things before thinking. as far as the two of them not working out, it was mostly due to really bad timing on both of their parts. as soon as they decided to go for it, they both had a lot come up for each of them personally and all of that on top of trying to make a relationship function was just too much. i don't know how to answer your last question, she'll always care about him and love him and i can't answer for his character, obviously, but i think once they get over their stubbornness and actually talk things out maturely rather than fighting they'll be fine.
