sorry you think we're being cliquey, but for me at least, i can't keep up with two separate chats, and if i have to pick one, i'm going to pick the house specific one because i really want our house to be close, which it hasn't been. you can say it's rude to be in the house chat, but it's also kind of rude that you'd make a school wide one after a full days notice the gryffs were doing something, then get offended when we're in the one we actually planned. you could do school wide chats ANY TIME and you pick right when you know another is going on? that's our fault how

i wish i was able to pay attention in chats but i prefer one on one ims or small chats, not to mention my aim constantly kicks me out of chatrooms and i hate constantly having to be all OH MY PARCHMENT IS WONKY OR SOMETHING SORRY

i love you guys and i'm not trying to be a panini but it really is always the same handful of people overruling the chats and when others DO say something it usually scrolls by so quickly no one sees it or no one cares to respond

if you don't like it why do you have to complain? some people find it fun and try hard to keep up but it's not for everyone. it moves fast because everyone kind of talks and there's 5 different conversations going on so there's a point at which you can try to latch on or wait until it slows down

in my experience if you call somebody by name they usually respond to you in the chats and i've had a lot of great convos that way which, yes, can get a bit messy because everyone's talking at once but it's fun and if i weren't having fun i wouldn't be in there, so idk what this ignoring business is about but you can't expect to make a few off-handed comments and be responded to every time
