If you want to a good safety margin provided you catch the snitch (also contingent on the Catapults and Tornados losing with minimal scores) you need to score at least four or five goals more than you're averaging, which would be require greater focus and effort on your team's part, particularly with a reserve of unknown skill Beating in your next match, so---

But that's what I was trying to tell Kendall! We're 1-2, soon enough the leads are going to be too far to catch up from and our playoff spot is going to be ridiculous! I've been putting in extra workouts myself because they're already adding up my goal count and it's pretty fucking high compared to some of the other Keepers ~~goddamn Parkin---~~ and I'm going to be benched before week five.

I think your team should be pleased they have an interim captain who knows the odds needed to win and pushes his team for that. The Kestrels might have been set back a week after losing their captain, but since you're willing to work them even harder to make up for that, you may even gain an advantage. ~~If they cooperate~~
