Tallie's impeccable work ethic meant most of the time she had no problem completing her holiday work way ahead of time, and that day in the Easter holiday was no exception: it was only a couple of days into the break, and she had just finished a long essay on the uses of runespoor eggs in Potions. Part of her contemplated ploughing straight into her next piece of work, but she figured that she deserved a break for the day - it was the holidays, after all.

Once she had put all of her school supplies away neatly in her room, Tallie drifted downstairs, looking to see who might be around. It was quieter than usual (partly why she had chosen that day to get a headstart on her work), so she supposed most of the Chandars were out of the house, but surely there had to be someone around.

"Thank you!" Tallie said with a modest smile when Parvati praised her, laughing when she offered her some of the wine-- after she had heard Wes go on about how strict his parents were when they were at school, she was always a little surprised when Parvati said things like this - that, and she was used to parents who didn't show much humour. When she pulled out the colouring pencils, Tallie couldn't help but take a few from the selection ont he table to compare, rolling them in her fingers. That was something she loved about Parvati's designs, and eastern clothing in general: it was so bright. "I like this one," she said brightly, and held up a rich, deep blue.
