Tallie's impeccable work ethic meant most of the time she had no problem completing her holiday work way ahead of time, and that day in the Easter holiday was no exception: it was only a couple of days into the break, and she had just finished a long essay on the uses of runespoor eggs in Potions. Part of her contemplated ploughing straight into her next piece of work, but she figured that she deserved a break for the day - it was the holidays, after all.

Once she had put all of her school supplies away neatly in her room, Tallie drifted downstairs, looking to see who might be around. It was quieter than usual (partly why she had chosen that day to get a headstart on her work), so she supposed most of the Chandars were out of the house, but surely there had to be someone around.

Parvati glanced up as Tallie found a color she liked, and she smiled at the sight of it, shifting her gaze slightly so that she was looking past the pencil and towards Tallie. "True Ravenclaw, you are. Love it," she said, reaching out to take the pencil from Tallie and scribble a swatch of the color on the corner of the page. "What if we accent it with a deep green, give it a bit of a peacock look?" To give Tallie a visual, Parvati sorted through a couple of green pencils she had before finding one with the perfect shade and scribbling it next to the blue to compare. "What d'you think?"

Just then the sound of gum popping getting closer and closer was a clear alert that someone was coming -- though it wasn't long until it was made clear who it was. "There you are," Tilo said as she nearly walked past the room and did a double take, stepping in and shaking her head at Tallie, ignoring that she was with Parvati. "Come on then, we're going shopping." She wiggled her eyebrows evilly at her, looking over at her mother and then down at her sketches, before looking back at Tallie. "We recruiting for the sari shop?" she asked with a grin. "I could use some more hands on deck."
