Tallie's impeccable work ethic meant most of the time she had no problem completing her holiday work way ahead of time, and that day in the Easter holiday was no exception: it was only a couple of days into the break, and she had just finished a long essay on the uses of runespoor eggs in Potions. Part of her contemplated ploughing straight into her next piece of work, but she figured that she deserved a break for the day - it was the holidays, after all.

Once she had put all of her school supplies away neatly in her room, Tallie drifted downstairs, looking to see who might be around. It was quieter than usual (partly why she had chosen that day to get a headstart on her work), so she supposed most of the Chandars were out of the house, but surely there had to be someone around.

Like Tallie, Parvati had been spending most of the day in the den working, though in her case it wasn't essays so much as sketches -- sheets upon sheets of scribbled sketches with various colors, mixed and matched to see what looked best. While she liked both eastern and western fashion, it had been a desire of hers for quite sometime to create something that was a fusion of the two. Though she had many ideas, it wasn't always easy to translate them onto paper in the form of something that would actually look not only good but edgy and fashion forward as well.

She sipped a glass of red wine as she glanced between two sketches, both similar, and wondering which would be the most flattering. Just then, a shuffling noise by the door caught her attention and she glanced over, just catching sight of Tallie before she passed the door frame. Parvati grinned to herself, realizing what she really needed was a second opinion. "Tallie, love," she called out. "Would you mind coming in here for a moment?"
