Tallie's impeccable work ethic meant most of the time she had no problem completing her holiday work way ahead of time, and that day in the Easter holiday was no exception: it was only a couple of days into the break, and she had just finished a long essay on the uses of runespoor eggs in Potions. Part of her contemplated ploughing straight into her next piece of work, but she figured that she deserved a break for the day - it was the holidays, after all.

Once she had put all of her school supplies away neatly in her room, Tallie drifted downstairs, looking to see who might be around. It was quieter than usual (partly why she had chosen that day to get a headstart on her work), so she supposed most of the Chandars were out of the house, but surely there had to be someone around.

Tallie took a seat eagerly when Parvati pulled up a chair, excited to get to help her out sorting her drawings, as well as just spend some time with her: her own mother had rarely actively asked to bond with her like this, so it felt like a novelty to be called over, and a nice reminder that she was more than just a house guest. As she and Sameer were the heads of the house, it was a relief that she had been accepted into their home by them just as completely as their children, and they were not just putting up with her being there because Wes had asked if she could stay nearly a year before. Not to mention, Parvati was fun.

Both of the sketches Parvati held up looked lovely to Tallie, and she was not sure how to choose between them. In the end, she didn't. "How about both? You could make the second one part of a collection directed more towards younger women, because you're right, they would be good for a party - I know I'd buy one - but then the first one is still fantastic, and different enough to be made in its own right." In a way, Tallie was perhaps not the best person to ask, because she was fascinated the eastern style of clothing (she would always linger at Tilo's brightly-coloured saris whenever they raided through her wardrobe to look for an outfit) and would probably fall in love with just about anything Parvati made.
