Breaking News!
Happy Christmas Quidditch enthusiasts! Have we got a present for you! Everyone was saying this year’s trades were quiet and dull, which meant only one thing, someone had something big in the works. We certainly had one thing right, Falmouth Falcons are acquiring a new player this season, but we were completely wrong about the who. Kendall Broadmoor will not be returning back to the shadows of his family name and is sticking it out with the rest of the fledglings on the Kestrels...
Earlier this afternoon, with barely five days left on the trade clock, the Falcons management announced that effective after the new year Seth Wadcock will be moving south and taking up a bat for Falmouth. The exact details of the trade have yet to be released, but we are certainly interested in finding out what Falmouth used to entice the beater away from the reigning league champion team. Wadcock didn’t speak long on the trade and answered very few questions, our guess was he didn’t have the answers on the notecards he kept referencing the entire time. Although, when asked how he felt about the trade, he gave a small smile before saying. "I think I'll look fantastic in grey and white," he joked, "And they all seem excited to have me, so I think it will all work out well." A more formal interview is promised sometime after the holiday. Keep your eyes on the headlines. We will be sure to bring you the latest as we hear it. Until then, what say you readers? What has Wadcock jumping ship this time? | |
