She shifted her shoulders trying to get her hands free and felt the weight around her neck. Her brain raced to figure the implications of what he said and how she could make it work to her advantage. All bets said they didn't know Jacob Landon was Cocoa Puff crazy about his little brother's safety, and threatening Jason would make the crazy guy a viper in their midst. Then again, Jake would blame her for it. He was all too happy to believe the worst.
