Sammy's gut tightened at the mention of her father. Surely he couldn't be involved. It was all Mikel and his grandiose plans to rule SHIELD, calling himself director and believing he could have it. It had to be. Her father wouldn't leave her running around knowing what she could do, what resources she could pull together with Jason's help.
"Don't be in my way when I come for Mikel," Sammy said to Jake without taking her eyes from Jason. She didn't need to, she was aware of everything and everyone around her. It was odd to know that as much as she didn't like Jake Landon, they seemed to understand each other. "I'll go through you if you force me."
