Sammy busied herself getting him into the chopper and them up in the air. She'd had her pilot's license since she was seventeen.
"No team yet," she finally said once they were underway. The nearest major hospital was contacted, then SHIELD. She needed the interference so she wouldn't have to explain Jason's injuries. By the time they landed, Jason's medical file would be available for the attending physician and a private room arranged.
"Not until we know what we're dealing with and how deep it goes. Mikel had ex-SHIELD agents. If he has former agents, does he have active ones? How far up in the command chain do they go? Who's waiting to take us down if we don't follow the script? There are too many ifs at the moment."
