Started work at Angel's Hell this week. It's ... different. A lot of the rooms are themed. The dress code is specific. We wear what they tell us to. For me it usually involves tiny shorts. Whenever a customer comes in, we line up and they pick who they want. I thought it might be a little less demeaning, but ... it's not. I like doing movies better.

I turn nineteen in a couple days. I hate getting older. The older you get, the more useless you are.

Yeah, there is more than one security guard around here. Too many creepers and people causing trouble I guess, not that I'm complaining. It's a good job.

Then why so upset about being nineteen?

Well I looked it up, and prostitution's illegal in most states. Except Nevada and Rhode Island. So maybe that's why. I'm new to Reno, and I've never lived in Rhode Island.

Yeah, and I've never been to China and I can tell you the capital. Some things are just known. Especially things about sex. Especially if you're a guy. Unless you're a prude. But you might be the exception.

What's so complicated about it? Why don't you want to be nineteen? Something about fleeting youth?

What can I say? It's a global society.

Why feeling so useless then? When you're a kid it's not like you're exactly useful, unless you're the breadwinner of the family. Though, I guess if you're in this industry so early, that's not hard to imagine.
