There's no escape from loosing pants
Honestly Kayura was feeling pretty good. The days since the incident which should not be named (with that woman Kayura had taken to calling the Yakuza Princess)had gotten better. She wasn't upset about what she had seen as a really bad accident.

That meant she was doing not just as well as she had been in her training prior to that but there was a noticeable improvement. She was happy about it. Normally she did smile easily except when she was training but right now there was a slightly infectious tug at the corner of her mouth. She's happy and unless something goes wrong nothing will change that mood.

	As odd as it is, that statement helps tremendously. It restores some sense that something is in its place and as it should be. Trying to remain calm, he rises, moving to the door and checking it. 	"It's days like this I'm glad 'Uncle George' thought I should know how to pick a lock just in case. I'm not good at it but I can try." And she tugs a bobby pin out of her hair. The only one she had today actually and tried to pick the lock. And her lack of skill in this area is pretty clear. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He carefully says nothing, and now he manages to look away. In his time, admitting to such a skill, useful primarily for thieves, would get a lot of odd looks. He'll let her work at the lock and pretend he didn't hear that. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He would have preferred if she didn't just try to justify knowing criminal skills, and just let him pretend. Once again, the situation is far worse for having things pointed out. And now he can't help but notice she's both trying to pick a lock, bending over a bit to do so, and doing so while bottomless. Neither thing helps any. "A problem?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Ummm."

She points at the lock. Half of the bobby pin is stuck in the lock and the other half is in her hand. "Yes. I broke the pin. I don't think I can actually pick the lock."

She peers up at him as her glasses slide to the end of her nose. She is suddenly aware that she is bent over and is wearing one of her longer tank tops that she wears while training sometimes. Crap. She stands up straighter because no she will not accidentally flash Hajime-sempai. This is bad.

Admittedly, she sort of already did, a little. And odd thoughts are starting to occur. His student... likes to cook. Of all the things. That, combined with the brief flash, followed by the attempt to cover up... which is almost worse... further acknowledgement of her state, and consciousness of it... sort of reminds him that his student is an attractive young wom... ok, is female anyway. That's as far as he lets his mind wander. He'd prefer it hadn't done that.

And somewhere in there, he is reminded of the baths... which he totally shouldn't be. That was all fine, and in perfect context, damn it.

Or the last time she was naked... and the closet.

He pushes it from his mind again and again. And yet, it always comes back to, she likes to cook. Even if her tastes are weird.

"Even if you could, with the pin stuck, you cannot now. We seem to be stuck for the moment." Because breaking the doors down in the place hosting them would be rude.

"I should try to remove it at least," she reaches with a finger and jiggles it about until she can tug it free. Then she eyeballs it. The end looks pretty badly mangled. It's too bad really.

The really funny thing is while Hajime has started to notice Kayura as a woman she doesn't even begin to notice him past his skills and his personality. She doesn't interact very often with people socially so even though she should notice she just doesn't.

"Maybe I should try sneaking to my room? I have clothing there."

"Right. Because of course the other door is locked," she mutters trying to not look annoyed.

She isn't. Really she's perfectly happy being pantless.

She can't even lie to herself very well. "Father never said there would be days I would lose my clothing. Chased around by very angry monsters? Yes. Having to get information from people of questionable character? Certainly. But never did he mention loosing pants."

She thinks it's because she's a girl.

"Or it could be the armor is.... unsettled. I'm the first woman it has bonded to." She used to think she was young before she got a good look at the records going back.

The youngest to wear it was a boy named Shiro who was barely thirteen at the time the armor passed to him. He had lived long enough to make sure his younger brother was prepared to take on the responsibility.

She shouldn't think such grim things right now.

"Perhaps I should call my armor now, Sempai? So that I do not have to worry about a lack of pants."

Why hadn't that occurred to her the last time she was naked?
