Sam hadn't left the couch since he got home Saturday night from the winter concert. He had been in his pjs and watching Kill Bill on repeat when he finally texted Bobby. He needed an emergency intervention before he sunk into the couch never to return to the world of the living.

Sam lost track of time and unfortunately heard his mother's scream from the sitting room where the fireplace was. "SAM! HEEEELP!" And the inevitable sound of the broom and someone trying to ask her to stop. "Melchor!"

Sam rolled off the couch. "Mom! I thought I told you Bobby was coming over! Stop hitting him!"

Anna stepped back, with her hand over her mouth. "Oh... oh Bobby, I'm sorry," she said helping him up. "At least I didn't hit you in the face? Let me get you something to drink," she rushed out of the sitting room to leave the boys on their own for a few minutes.

Sam looked guilty. "Sorry bro."
