Frankie hadn't even thought of presents yet. Her father tended to hire a person shopper, and her mother got so wound up hand-making hundreds of cards that she didn't do much else. "Tell me about it. What can I buy for the family that can afford everything?" She smiled jokingly but it faded with the mention of Julian.
"I don't know. He's never around much anymore. I think he has a girlfriend." She rolled her eyes and tossed her hair. "I bet your brother's looking forward to having you home."
