Ciaran surpressed a laugh at the Jesus-blowjob face she made, shaking his head a bit. "There'd be too much going on in the foreground. If Jesus is in the background then it makes the cross the focal point. It draws the eyes straight to it, which...is kinda the point."
He nodded, watching Emilie open the tin of paint. "It gives it more varied elements. It was a cool idea."
The paint wasn't the right colour, but that was easily fixed. Taking another swig of his beer, Ciaran stepped around the paint on the floor and sat down on the bed. "Ladies first. You start it and I'll catch up."
They were going to be working in each other's space at some point if they both started now, but if Emilie worked outwards they could paint their mural without getting in one another's way.
Ciaran lay across the end of the bed, his beer resting on his stomach and his boots hanging off the other side. Hopefully she wouldn't make it too bloody; the devil was in the detail, after all.
