Jenny jumped just slightly when Sam joined her. Once she realized what was going on, she managed a sheepish little smile. "Hey hun," she said simply, scooting in her chair a little so that she could lean closer to him. "I just stick out like a sore thumb at these things, I feel like the designated driver.. and besides that, those sophomore girls over there kept looking at me like they think I'm going to cut them up and feed them to their parents.
