Summary: The de Kooning boys act how they always do at home. Quinn is unfortunately stuck in the middle.


Stas had a tendency to avoid his brother. Too many scars, too many tussles. He was getting too old for this shit, that much he knew to be true.

It was harder to avoid Kaz when they were at home at the same time. It was really hard when their mutual friend was also a house guest.

In this case it was Quinn, one of the few people at CCI who could handle both boys. She had returned with them from Sam's New Years Eve party and as far as Stas knew she was planning to stay the two days until the new term started. He intended to head back to school as late as possible on Sunday.

At the moment Stas was lounging on the couch with a generous glass of scotch in his hand. He wasn't sure what Kaz or Quinn were doing and he was drunk enough not to care.
