There wasn't a lot of subjects Charlie made an effort in, but Potions was one of them. It was something he had always had a flare for, all the ingrediants fascinated him and he would be lying if he said there weren't alterior motives behind learning them all. Perhaps a killer halucinogenic that he could sell once he was out of school? The possibilities were endless. And that is why if Charlie was ever sat in the common room, bent over an essay with a creased brow, guaranteed it was for Advanced Potions.

Scribbling out an entire paragraph he had slaved away on for the best part of half an hour, Charlie gave an exhasperated sigh and put the pen down, rubbing his eyes and finally looking up to take note of his surroundings. As usual the common room was busy. Students were pouring in from after classes and meeting before going down to dinner together. A group of girls were tormenting a freshman boy and one junior had steam coming out of his ears (whilst his friends pointed and laughed). but all the commotion was dulled by his ear phones, which he pulled out to bring the noise level back to normal. He waited for a welcome distraction to rescue him from grammar and recipes that were filling his head.
