Summary Mari sneaks away for a cheeky cigarette and hopefully some company.


Mari had only made one new years resoultion this year and that was to stop smoking. She liked smoking, but joining the dance troupe this year was practically killing her. It was one thing to dance your butt off but to do it without maximum lung capacity was proving too hard, plus wheezing was never a good look unless you had like, athsma or something.

She had been trying really hard, but it was times like this when everyone was busy doing homework and no one wanted to play that she found herself outside and reaching for her lighter. Mari thought it was as much everyone elses fault as hers, I mean, how hard was it to just pay attention to her? She pouted and lit a cigarette, crouched down the side of the Rienzi building and huddled a little. It definitely wasn't warm and she pulled the hood of her sweater over her head and shivered.

Perhaps she should start her own homework? She scoffed at the end and blew smoke out of her nose. As if. Homework was there for doing at 7am over breakfast, when Michi would probably relent and help her. Breaking her train of thought, Mari suddenly felt like she wasn't alone. Panicking slightly, she stubbed the cigarette out in the dirt and batted the smoke away from herself before turning around innocently. She prayed it wasn't a professor.
