Adelaide stalked her way through the woods to the clearing, feeling a bit like a criminal. It wasn't so much that she was doing anything wrong, simply that she looked like a terrible pickpocket, looking around to make sure she wasn't being followed. With that stupid behavioural probation over her head, she really didn't want any teachers crashing Charlie's party-- it might be the only chance she got in a while to have some fun. She spotted Charlie in the clearing quite easily; he'd made it big enough so that if the party got wild everyone would still fit. "Hey gramps!" She bapped the end of his cigarette with the envelope she was holding. "Sorry," she said, meaning the lame gift. "When it comes to presents, I blow."
