Casey usually didn't do parties. Not unless they were in the dorms with plenty of food, Mountain Dew, and some sort of video game spree. Those barely even counted as parties to begin with. Family parties didn't count either. But, there he was, at a real party held by a fellow student. The only real reason he was there was due to the fact that he had promised his mother he would try to be more social, and that there were certain other friends of his that kept urging him to get out once in a while. So when he heard about an open party, he decided to give it a shot. Casey took a look around at who was there so far and he had even made sure to show up a little late so he didn't have to deal with the awkward feeling of being one of a handful. Especially since he sort of stayed towards the outskirts of the people for the moment, trying to remember how to act like a relatively normal person and less of a shut-in.
