Characters: Jenny and Ella.
Setting: Sunday, at the mall food court.
Content: SFW and adorable.
Summary: Ella has decided to take her sister out and see what's up with her. Boy scouting is clearly the way to do this. Jenny not sure if want, and HEART TO HEART BONDING ENSUES.

When Jenny had caught wind of this plan, she had done everything in her power to make it happen as painlessly as possible.

She wasn't sure when or where Ella had caught onto her, but her sister knew something was up. Somewhere else along the line, Ella had decided that spending a whole day at the mall looking at boys was the way to solve whatever was up with her. Jenny had at least gotten fair warning, they had been talking about doing this for a few days now, Jenny's stomach knotting up worse and worse with each passing mention. She didn't want to turn her sister down, but she wasn't exactly thrilled about the prospect of wasting a whole afternoon scoping for dudes. She could be doing homework, or watching television, reading a book, something productive. Why couldn't Ella want to go to the library together, or sit down and watch a movie?

Anything where she didn't have to try to keep it together and converse about who was fittest or sexiest or anything else.

Jenny had woken up extra early, easy to do with Ella sleeping in, and snuck off to shower and get dressed before Ella could pick out an outfit for her. She had already been mentioning how hot they were going to look; Jenny wasn't sure she was feeling in the mood for being hot at the mall.

Currently, she was just glad that they were finally taking a break, settling down in the food court on the upper floor. Jenny was currently standing in the Starbucks, waiting patiently for her drink, occasionally glancing back to where Ella was already seated.

They had to talk, she had decided, but she didn't know how. It wasn't something easy to just face and blurt out, even to her sister, whom she shared everything with.. well, everything before this. She knew Ella wouldn't judge her, they'd still be sisters, but there was something just holding her back.

She barely noticed when her drink was ready, eventually grabbing it and heading back to her table, sliding into the seat across from Ella. Her food from earlier was still in front of her, nuggets and ketchup, barely touched. She sipped at the frappucino, glancing back toward Starbucks.

"He was cute," she said, biting her lip briefly. "The guy at Starbucks? He gave me a medium even though I ordered a small."
