"She scared me more this time than ever before. I felt like Rapunzel, like trapped in a tower for the whole break," Jenny replied, pouting. She understood somewhat where their mother was coming from, but it didn't make it any easier to deal with.
She tensed up slightly as her sister leaned forward, glancing away for a moment. "I didn't know if you'd be cool with it," Jenny offered lamely, not a hundred percent meaning it. "He's.. really smart. Like, really smart.. maybe too smart. He doesn't know when to not act smart in front of people, but it's kind of cute. And he's really nice, despite that. To me, anyway. He's, uhm, got a sister and a brother.. he's in Sonnier," she explained, trailing off. "You know him."
She paused again. "Sort of."
