"I never said I wanted to do it here, I just said that it was a natural progression," he clarified. Not that he'd turn Leon down if he offered, but that was very unlikely right now. "And no, I haven't, but you're welcome to double check if you like."
Avery's hand worked its way up slightly, stroking the lengths of each of Leon's fingers in turn.
"But why do you want to be like that? It's depressing. Shouldn't you see someone about that sort of thing? I would." Avery sighed and brushed a hand through his hair. It was like dealing with a petulant child. How was he meant to seduce this?
"Fine, fine, we'll change the subject," Avery replied wearily. He was quite pleased that Leon had liked the kiss though; that was a start, wasn't it? "You know what you were saying earlier, about your uncle...well it's just that I noticed you were taking your time with my book and...I don't suppose you'd have much of an interest in all of that dark magic business, would you?"
