Meka was surprised that she had actually convinced Ben to go to the dance with her knowing how much he disliked dances. She at least wanted Gabe's makeover to count for something. She had stopped in at Gabe's to show off his work before going to the dance with Ben. It had been a little quiet, a little awkward, but nothing truly out of the ordinary when she excused herself to get some punch from the snack table.

She looked over to see a familiar figure in the corner, he was by himself. With one last look over her shoulder to Ben she gave a little shrug she walked over to Brian. "Uh... hey Brian," she said quietly so as not to startle him. "How are you?"
