To say that Casey was nervous was an understatement. A severe understatement.

Somehow he had managed to meet Colby in Rienzi's common room to walk with her to the dance. He had even remembered to get her a small and simple corsage at the advice of Vinnie. It wasn't the most formal of dances, but he didn't want to mess up the first time he actually had a date.

Once they were inside, Casey smiled over at Colby, and managed a, "You... look very pretty, by the way," without too much of a stutter. Just a slight hint of pink in his face for the moment.
